theme song. I'm so tired of listening to nothing but banjo picking in
bluegrass music.
A banjo sounds great
if used right (sparingly), but these days, banjo pickers want to
dominate and drown everything else out. Gerald Block (Sabine Bluegrass)
once said " you could turn a cattle stampede with a banjo, but you could
completely stop it with two banjos."

haven't got to hear your group for awhile. Are you going to
be at Turkey Track in October? We plan to be there. I
found your website on the Sabine Bluegrass website. The

The first time I have ever
heard you all was this past weekend at the RVSite in
Duncan, OK. Though we live in Texas now, we are from
the great state of Kentucky where country and bluegrass are
KING ! YOU ALL ARE FANTASTIC. I have to say my favorite
song that was sung was Never Been this Homesick Before.
I lost my daddy in 1990 and it was his very
favorite song for our family to sing as well. I cried
listening to it again, because it had been awhile and
brought back great memories. Speaking of memories, the fact
y'all are a family and do this as a family, its creating
great memories for your family and for generations yet to
come. Thank you so much.

Hi, I want to thank you for sending the
bluegrass CD's to James. He is still in the hospital, hopefully he
will be coming home Monday, the 6th. I don't really believe he is
feeling all that great, but he is wanting out of there.
It was so sweet of you to send the bluegrass to him since he
couldn't go. That was his main wish.
We always keep the positive thoughts... and
prayers are what keeps us going. Have a great day and may God

I'm Leon Joplin-I met you last year at Tres
Rios in Glen Rose, TX, and we jammed some. We also got to jam
together at Oak Dale Park. My band is Honey Creek Highway I have a
bluegrass radio show on KEQX-89.7 in Stephenville, TX.
The show is "Mountain Standard Time" and it
is on the air from 10:00 AM till Noon every Saturday.
I had a phone in request for some of your
music last week, and I'm sorry to say I don't have any of your music
to play.
If you could send me a CD, I'll send you a
check and give you some air time on my show.
